We ended up not be able to get an entertainment license for our event, so my dad did not D.J. the event. At first, it was a disappointment. However, I believe that when one door closes, another door opens. Everything happens for a reason, and we had a marvelous time in spite of our altered plans. Guests were able to share fellowship and laughter, and for once, my dad was actually able to mingle!!! (That is, after he greeted guests for hours.) He is always stuck behind a stage. That was a nice change of pace.
