Hi i am Lavonne, Jill's friend. We have never met but became friends on-line via our adoption journey's to get our daughters. We both DTC in March of 2007, i for a girl with a special need (sn) and Jill for her long awaited daughter (nsn).


Jill soon realized the wait for non-sn child but was trapped since her agency did not have a position with CCAA in China to promote sn children. This fall CCAA once again changed the rules for families waiting - and allowed them to switch agencies. Jill's agency was aligned with West Sands and transferred her file and paperwork to them and found her precious Jiliang who has TOF of the heart like our son (#4) - so we again had something in common.

It has been a long hard journey to get to this point for her - but now she is only days away from becoming a mother to her precious daughter. Jiliang, will most likely require surgery once home but often once they have the surgery they can live a wonderful and happy life. Our son Winston was fortunate to have his surgery in China and is doing amazing.

Jill is currently en-route to Shanghai and of course is hours ahead of us here. So i hope to daily be reporting for her and give you snap-shots into this wonderful time in the Koeppe Family life with this new addition.
